This is an epic failure, i dont even need to find any source material this is absolutely poor in every aspect, seems worse than that ai god show “yuan shen haojie”. What did they have? A milk company as their only investor/sponsor? Made by a 3 person college club?

Only decent Chinese animation airing right now are soul land , battle through the heavens , daily life of immortal king . Rest of them generic cultivation story with stoic 3d animation and copy paste plot. I hope they will make a bit like King's avatar soon

There are a few more. Against the Sky Supreme is fantastic. I'm enjoying Ling Jian Zun and Martial Master as well.

I wish all the chinese animations where like daily life of immortal king which is japanese cartoon style, those computer graphics used for the other shows irritate me, battle through the heavens and yao shen ji would be awesome if it was same style as the manhwas

I agree with you there. Unfortunately those studios don't have such budget that's why they use reused resources and use 3d art style . At least story is good that's why those shows are enjoyable.

Doupo Cangqiong is back with a new season and the quality is beyond all of these. It makes Douluo Dalu look like crap.

yup still good stories after you get used to the animation its not hard to overlook

I watch and enjoy a lot of Chinese anime. I like the story in yuan shen haojie, but it looks like an experiment. This on the other hand seems like they released an unfinished product.

Well yea the manga is probably really good, but this adaption makes me not even want to check it out.

its from CHINA, theres only 2 decent studios in china, and one of them makes its content in Japanese...
there are 3 other 2d animators who are hanah-barbara level
and the rest are into 3d animation and worse

Just came from watching Doupo Cangqiong: 4th season and have to say it left a bitter taste. Couldn't even finish the episode. A big no-no for me in every way

Why did they butcher this donghua? Although I can't say this series is one of my favorite, but at least I had read both its manhua and novel. It's a pity, the art was good.

i dont have words to say how disapoited i am because i love this manga very much and when i saw that it was animated i was so happy but when i opened the ep i saw this and i was extremely disapoited and mad because if this had just a little bit of a better animatio it would be so good TT

I saw the trailer in full 3D on YouTube and the action fights were great, but this is not the same as they advertised.

The Manhua is very good, but he gets soon very OP, and later only have to give instruction to his girls disciples to fight for him in the beginning, but not sure if it will be the same in the future when he gets stronger opponents. Still, This anime should follow the novel, so not sure if it will be the same as the manga too.

alot of chinese manwas are like that MC is always trash (bullies tend to call weak MC trash every second word literally you trash ill kill you trash how dare you trash, chinese obsessed with word trash) engaged gf breaks up with him some miracle happens then they become strong its a cliche premise just like so many japanese animes having isekai these days when alot of them the only isekai is just the origin story and has nothing to do with the rest of the story which is fantasy, sure they have some isekais where otherworld knowledge helps them, but theres alot where it doesnt mean squat they just throw in iseka origin story to ride the popularity of the times

i dont expect the art like SAO or AOT but general anime art are enough to captivate all fans..

So it's not just bad animation... I can deal with some lower quality animation if it's real animation, but this is digital and looks like it was made in Flash.

the manga has so many chapters, if they continue with this the episodes better be the normal 20-25 minutes and not 10 minutes, once a week release for 10 minutes is meh, but who am i to complain im watching it on gogo and not paying anyone...
